JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill a postdoctoral research position in Experimental Atomic Physics. The successful candidate will participate in our 1D Bose gas experiments. These projects involve working to extend a complex, one-of-a-kind apparatus, taking and analyzing data, and all associated aspects of producing basic research in physics. The ideal candidate should have experience with laser cooling, atom trapping, and quantum degenerate gases.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter, CV and statement of research interests.
