The successful candidate will be joining a team of theorists and experimentalists and will primarily carry out research on wavefront shaping, hyperspectral imaging, and microscopy. The candidate is expected to work closely with the theorists in the team and supervise and train graduate students.
Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or Optical Sciences.
Proven track record in one or more of the fields mentioned above.
Proven experience in experimental photonics (hyperspectral imaging, wavefront shaping, and bidirectional reflectance (BRDF) measurements).
Advanced programming and simulation skills in Matlab, LabView, Comsol or Lumerical are highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently, both under supervision and as a part of a team.
Term/Availability: This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
