Job Description:
This position is to work on the development of integrated thermal management for high heat flux communications and computing electronics under the supervision of Prof. Bladimir Ramos Alvarado.
Both, active and passive cooling technologies will be designed through multiphysics modeling and experimentally tested.
The postdoctoral scholar is expected to work in a highly collaborative environment in which electrical engineers, material/data scientists, and thermal engineers will collaborate to develop the next generation of microelectronics manufacturing.
Qualifications:
A PhD in mechanical engineering with a strong focus on heat transfer is required by the start date.
The candidates must have expertise in computational fluid dynamics modeling of conjugate heat transfer and experimental experience in a heat transfer laboratory.
Additional Information:
This is a term appointment, funded for one year from date of hire, with a possibility of renewal. Interested candidates should submit a CV, cover letter, and contact information for two references.
