Position Summary:
The Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is looking to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow within the laboratory team at the Prostate Disease Research and Innovation Program at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical research at McGill University. This appointment is for one year that is renewable.
The position will be based at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research (LDI). The research program focuses on translational research on focal therapeutic approaches of prostate cancer. Overall, our research program represents a multidisciplinary effort to advance prostate cancer diagnosis and management. By integrating molecular biology techniques, biomarker discovery strategies, and cell models, we aim to contribute to the development of more accurate and reliable diagnostic tools for prostate cancer, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications:
The candidate must have a PhD in related field of research.
Must have research experience in oncological research.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently, while contributing to the efforts of a larger research team.
Ability to design and carry out research independently.
Exceptional computational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Provide strong references.
McGill University is an English-language university where most teaching and research activities are conducted in the English language, thereby requiring English communication both verbally and in writing.
