Position Summary
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Leyao Wang in the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. The Wang lab studies the airway microbiome and immunology. This position will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to perform studies on bacteria and respiratory virus interactions on cell lines, airway organoids, and mice to pursue a career in the field of Microbiology and lung immunology.

Required Qualifications
- A PhD degree in microbiology, immunology or related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, as evidenced by peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with laboratory staff and investigators.
Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
