Job Description
A postdoctoral position in molecular pharmacology is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Neumann at the University of Pittsburgh. The funded project will focus on drug discovery in breast cancer using mouse models as well as cell culture and patient cells. The lab’s current projects focus on mechanistic studies into triple-negative breast cancer pathogenesis as well as testing novel therapies.
Necessary research skills include standard molecular and cellular biology techniques. Prior experience using mice and human cell culture is a requirement. In addition, candidates should have outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills and excellent written and oral skills. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on current NIH guidelines.
