Major/Essential Duties of Job:
Conduct field research focusing on understanding how woody plants and associated vegetation alter ecohydrological properties.

Required Education:
Ph.D. in related field
Required special knowledge, abilities, and skills:
Good communication and computer skills.
Ability to conduct independent field research.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience and success in publishing ecohydrology research in top ranked scientific journals
Knowledge and experience in measuring soil hydrological characteristics.
Knowledge and interest in hydrological modeling, programing using R.
Measuring soil infiltrability, measuring soil and rock water, experience with rainfall simulation techniques.
Knowledge of the application of stable isotopes
