JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Materials Science and Engineering department at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar. The final candidate will work in polymer crystallization, polymer physics, and rheology.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Research on polymer crystallization, polymer physics, and rheology.
Research X-ray scattering, neutron scattering, and various rheological and thermal methods need to be utilized together in a synergistic manner.
Guiding/helping the graduate students and undergraduate researchers in Professor Colby's group.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Polymer Physics, or related discipline by appointment start date.
Research experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments that push the frontier of polymer physics forward.
Should have experience in scattering and rheology.
Strong recommendation letters.
