Arts and Sciences | Chemistry and Biochemistry AdministrationThe Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to perform independent research in applied biochemistry and drug discovery. The ideal candidate will have experience with biochemical assays with acetylcholinesterase and with the development of novel therapeutic solutions.
Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in biochemistry with specialization in bioanalytical and biophysical methods as well as tools or related area is required. Demonstrated experience in acetylcholinesterase research and bioanalytical tools for its study is required. Research interest in bioanalytical spectroscopic and spectrometric analyses is desired. Strong software skills in spectroscopic analysis is desired.

The pay range for this job profile is $48,000-$60,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
