JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position in the lab of Dr. Lingzhou Xue. Potential research projects include (but not limited to) the development of new statistical methods for high-dimensional statistics, nonparametric statistics, graphical models, etc., and their applications to metagenomics and microbiome analysis.
Education and Experience
A Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or directly related field at time of appointment is required. The successful applicants will be expected to have a solid statistical background, research experiences, showing independence and innovation, and demonstrated academic writing skills.
