About This Opportunity

We are seeking an inspired and talented postdoctoral researcher in molecular immunology to join our team. The project will explore the molecular basis of immunity to disease, inter-individual immune variation, and vaccine responsiveness using samples from human experimental infection models or vaccination. The primary focus of the research is to accelerate the development of immunotherapeutics, vaccines and diagnostics against chronic infectious diseases using systems immunology as a platform. It will provide an opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge advances spanning diverse fields of immunology and functional genomics, including single-call and spatial transcriptomics. The work will complement ongoing systems-based and therapeutic development efforts at UQ directed at infectious and chronic disease and is anticipated to have broad application to many disease targets.
