Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Chemical Engineering is searching for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by assisting in the execution of research projects for the Gomes group, and other such tasks as assigned to you.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Working in the Gomes research group on developing algorithms and strategies for faster optimization of complex chemical reactions.
Developing new strategies for optimization and discovery of complex catalyzed chemical reactions.
Using state of the art artificial intelligence, high-throughput computational chemistry, and automated experimentation.
Other duties as assigned.

You should demonstrate:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong research record, documented by recent publications in top-tier conferences and journals
Qualifications:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field.
1-3 years of research experience
