Position Summary
Postdoctoral Research Associate position available immediately to work on single cell and spatial biology multiomics projects in the Jain Lab at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. We are studying how the human kidney is organized at anatomical and molecular scales in healthy and disease conditions across life-span.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The project will include generation and analysis of single cell gene expression and epigenomic profiles from human kidneys to determine key biological processes occurring in different functional tissue units and neighborhoods by applying state-of-the art technologies and analytical methods.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.
Preferred Requirements
Expertise in R, Python, bioinformatics and analysis of single cell or spatial transcriptomics data.
Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
